2011년 3월 10일, 아이언 메이든의 첫 내한공연을 기념하며 1980년대 앨범 6장이 국내에서 재발매됩니다. 리마스터링에 더해 'Special Multimedia Section'을 통해 뮤직비디오, 바이오그래피, 포토 갤러리를 즐길 수 있는 아이템으로, 그간 고가의 수입반으로만 구할 수 있었습니다.

최고의 아이템은 역시 'Live After Death'입니다. 2 CD 1 Price라는 가격의 메리트도 무시할 수 없지만, 아이언 메이든의 진수가 바로 라이브입니다. 오히려 정규 앨범보다 더 듣기 좋은 앨범이기도 합니다. 이번 공연에서는 1980년대의 곡들이 많이 연주되진 않을 것 같다고 하네요. 아쉬운 소식입니다.

국내에서 구하기 쉬운 아이언 메이든의 베스트 앨범입니다. 1996년에 발매된 베스트는 선곡이 고른 편이며, 2008년에 발매된 1980년대 베스트 앨범은 라이브 곡들의 비중이 제법 높습니다.
2010년에 발매된 'The Final Frontier'입니다. 이번 내한공연이 바로 이 앨범의 투어이기도 합니다. 그들의 건재를 알리기에 충분했던 멋진 앨범입니다. 바로 이 앨범의 웅장한 오프닝인 'Satellite 15...The Final Frontier'가 내한공연의 포문을 열 가능성 또한 높습니다. 8분이 넘는 대곡입니다. 신작 수록곡의 절반 정도가 내한공연에서 연주될 예정인데, 최근 Setlist를 살펴보면 'El Dorado', 'Coming Home', 'When The Wild Wind Blows', 'The Talisman'을 연주했습니다. 국내 팬들에게도 익숙한 1980년대 곡들 중 'Iron Maiden'과 'The Number of the Beast', 'Hallowed Be Thy Name', 'Running Free', '2 Minutes to Midnight', 'The Evil That Men Do'도 만날 수 있을 것으로 보여집니다. 베스트 혹은 라이브 앨범과 'The Final Frontier'만 미리 들어두어도 아주 즐겁게 공연을 즐길 수 있을 것 같습니다.
