이것은 20세기 밥딜런을 연대기라 할 수 있는 베스트 컬렉션이다. 2장의 디스크에 발표된 순서대로 36곡을 수록했다. 특히 정규 앨범에서 만날 수 없는 'Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?', 'I Shall Be Released', 'You Ain't Goin' Nowhere' 같은 곡들과 부틀렉 시리즈를 통해 공개한 'Blind Willie McTell'도 수록하여 훨씬 매력적인 컬렉션이 되었다. 1980~1990년대 곡들의 비중이 다소 적은 편이다. 그래서 'Gotta Serve Somebody' 같은 곡들은 더욱 돋보인다. (마치 에릭 클랩튼 버전의 'I Shot The Sheriff'을 연상시키는 레게리듬이 등장) 물론 'Time Out Of Mind'의 수록곡인 'Not Dark Yet' 같은 깊이 있는 곡을 빼먹진 않았다.

가장 최근의 베스트 컬렉션이며, 특히 3 CD 버전은 Best Of Best다. 데뷔작 Bob Dylan에 수록된 'Song to Woody'부터 2006년작 'Modern Times'에 수록된 'When the Deal Goes Down'까지 45년 역사를 압축했다. 무려 51곡을 수록했지만, 앞선 베스트 앨범들에 2000년대 곡들이 추가된 형태다. 입문용으로는 차라리 깔끔하게 압축한 1 CD 버전을 추천한다. 3장의 CD는 너무 버겁다.
