기대되는 밥 딜런의 새 부틀렉 시리즈 'Another Self Portrait'

밥 딜런의 부틀렉 시리즈를 모두 가지고 있진 않지만 들어본 앨범들은 흥미로웠다. 사실 이 시리즈는 정규 앨범을 다 못들은 상태였기 때문에 (애써) 외면하려했으나, 구성을 보고 그냥 지나칠 수 없어 결국엔 딜런 컬렉션에 부틀렉 시리즈로 하나 둘씩 추가되기 시작했다.

그런데, 그런데, 오는 8월 27일에 발매되는 [The Bootleg Series Vol. 10 – Another Self Portrait (1969–1971)]가 내 가슴을 설레게 만들고 있다. [Self Portrait]와 [New Morning] 앨범의 미발표곡과 세션, 데모가 주로 수록된 앨범으로 ‘Isle of Wight Festival 1969’와 [Self Portrait]의 2013 리마스터 버전을 추가 수록한 딜럭스 에디션이 특히 매력적이다. 사실 [Self Portrait]는 커버곡이 대거 실린 다소 평범한 앨범으로 밴 헤일런의 [Diver Down]처럼 욕을 많이 먹었지만, 개인적으로 매우 흥미롭게 들은 앨범이다. 그래서 이번 부틀렉 시리즈도 흥미로울 수밖에 없다. 

한국에서도 딜럭스 에디션이 수입될지, 아니면 아마존을 뒤져야할지 아직 잘 모르겠지만, 딜런 어르신은 지금도 꾸준히 내 가슴과 지갑을 흔들고 계신다. 아... 빨리 듣고 싶다.
